Qualitative Research

Mapping

Bringing lived experience of subcultures to our work, we draw on first-hand knowledge of how underground communities and movements shape mainstream culture. From music, fashion, and gaming to online fandoms, we decode the languages, rituals, and values that drive belonging and influence. This expertise helps brands engage with communities authentically and translate cultural codes into strategy and development.

Trends Mapping

Tracking shifts across tech, society, fashion, politics and culture, we separate hype or viral moment from real cultural-economic change. Using the same methods as in our cultural research, but with greater emphasis on trend and forecasting sources, we map movements, innovation and socio-economic trends to inform brands’ strategy and development.

Contextual Analysis

For brands to understand research findings as part of a larger world, we report the outcomes of our studies in context. Regional and generational cultural differences are rooted in socio-economic development over time. As part of our reporting, we provide insights into why certain demographics hold particular views, so brands can make better decisions for each market.
